To provide short term assistance for the following:

• people who have lost their livelihood due to the Tsunami specifically in the Arugam Bay and Pottuvil area
• to provide direct help to those that require help most by working directly with the registered charity 'Tsunami Aid Foundation for Arugam Bay' and our support team who are evaluating local needs and providing the audit trail required to assess that promised monies go to the right area
• to work with other people whom we trust in the area to guide us as to how best to use the money we raise
• to help other fund raising initiatives by directing them to sources of information and contacts that can help them make their own decisions about how they support this area.

Our main projects are:

• Adopt a School Programme
  
• Helping local fishermen and local businesses get back to work
  
• Mobility programme - providing bikes to the local community
  
• Providing support for the women to help the local community
